The NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Health and Safety course is broken into three units and provides delegates with the skills and knowledge required to build a good foundation in managing health and safety in the construction industry. Unit one focuses on the management of health and safety, Unit two looks at how to manage and control hazards and unit three goes into construction health and safety practical application. Who is the NEBOSH Construction Certificate Course Aimed Towards?
This course is directly aimed at anybody who contributes to the day to day decisions taken within the working environment in the construction industry.
Gain a Recognised Qualification of the Highest Standard
The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is awarded by the National Examination Board in Safety and Health. The course is approved and referenced in the Approved Code of Practice for CDM Regulations 2007 as a way of indication knowledge when assessing the first stage of competence for CDM Coordinators.
The duration of the NEBOSH Construction course depends on how you choose to take the training. It is available through e-learning, Distance learning and through tutor led training in a class room setting. Delegates who have already completed the first unit of the NEBOSH General Certificate may move straight onto the second and third units. The course can also be completed at your own pace through distance learning.
Assessment and Success
All delegates will need to perform a safety inspection on a construction site and produce a written report. If the course is successfully passed a NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Health and Safety is awarded. If you also have five years of health and safety experience you will be awarded with a Technician Status with your CPD.
