This short NRSWA Reassessment course allows workers and supervisors with experience on highways to renew their SWQR card. At just two days long, it is a convenient way to keep the SWQR qualification refreshed.

What’s Involved in the NRSWA Reassessment Course?

The two days will see delegates given a thorough grounding in highway work. This information will be conveyed via a combination of PowerPoint presentations and interactions between delegates and their instructors. At the end of each unit, a short test written test will determine success or failure. Lunch is included on both days.

How Are the Tests Composed?

Each test is a written question paper. You’ll be allowed thirty minutes to complete, there are always ten questions, and the pass mark is 80%. The test is conducted under exam conditions, and thus you’ll be unable to speak with other candidates while it’s going on. Should you fail, don’t worry; you’ll have the opportunity to resit at the end of the NRSWA Reassessment course. You can only resit a maximum of two units.

Who Can Attend the Training?

If you already hold a current SWQR, you will be able to attend. The tests are available only in English. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate interpreters. If your SWQR card has already expired you’ll need to re-attend either the NRSWA for Operatives or NRSWA for Supervisors course again.
