Course Content

  • Installing Second Fixing Components in the Workplace
  • Maintaining Non-structural Carpentry Work in the Workplace

Duration of the Course

Completion of this NVQ Level 2 Wood Occupations – Site Carpentry course will take between 9-18 months.

Assessment / Examination

You’ll be assessed in a workplace environment. The quality of your carpentry will be evaluated as you work and afterwards. Testimony will be collected from witnesses to your work, and you’ll be asked to answer a few written questions, too. By taking this varied approach, we’ll be able to assemble as complete a picture of your ability as a carpenter as possible.
